We have been to Gran Canaria over 8 times now and for good reason. It is one of the most welcoming and gay friendly destinations we include ever travelled to and has some incredible gay nightlife.
The majority of the gay bars in Gran Canaria can be found in the Yumbo Centre in Maspalomas. The Yumbo centre is a large multi level outdoor shopping centre by evening and home to the biggest gay scene in Gran Canaria by night.
On our last stop by we counted that there were over 30 gay bars and clubs in the Yumbo Centre alone ranging from drag bars, to casual bars, clubs and cruising bars.
We are always completely spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a gay bar in Gran Canaria which is why we have put together a shortlist of our personal favorites. [no_toc]
The idea (or challenge) is to follow this list in order for the perfect huge gay night out in the Yumbo Centre!

In addition to a perfect service around your holiday booking, Gay Maspalomas also wants to provide lots of information about the Gay Life in Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas in Gran Canaria Therefore we also established the Gay Guide for Gran Canaria
To create a guide with nearly all gay bars, restaurants, gay cruising bars and clubs, saunas and more in and around the Yumbo Center in Playa del Ingles, has always been our noble goal.
We have done so in recent years and really tried to present every new bar, restaurant or other new opening in the Gay Guide, but had to realize that it is just not possible to hold this up to date. (The fluctuation, especially at the bars and clubs in and around Playa del Ingles is just too big and fast)
And so at the big relaunch of Gay Maspalomas we decided on a completely different version of the Gay Guide - Quality and timeliness before Quantity and the claim to list as much as possible.
In the conclude we just combined the Gay Guide with the partners
