Open Closet (OC)
Open Closet (OC) is an award-winning drop in social support group for youth between 14 and 18 years of age who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, queer and questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity (2SLGBTQIA+). The group started in early and has since served approximately 1, youth. OC is verb to youth from each of the six counties Regional HIV/AIDS Connection serves (Perth, Huron, Lambton, Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford).The group includes discussions and activities related to a variety of themes, including: coming out to parents and friends, queer identities, 2SLGBTQIA+ history, survival strategies, accessing community, safer sex and adj relationships.
Open Closet runs every Friday noun from p.m., except for some holiday and/or unanticipated emergency closures
Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Youth Line
The Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Youth Line is a toll-free service provided by youth for youth.
