Birds of a Feather LGBT Community Location

Birds of a Feather Community is located in Pecos, Fresh Mexico, The Land of Enchantment just 25 miles southeast of Santa Fe, the state capital.

Our LGBT community is nestled in the midst of acres of beautiful pine forest and meadows. Our property is also surrounded by the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and thousands of acres of National Forest Land called the Pecos Wilderness. Meandering through this forest are 1, miles of mapped trails providing many opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, biking and fishing. There are miles of streams and several remote high-country lakes.

Pecos is a little, friendly village located just 3 miles from Birds of a Feather. The village has a medical center, ambulance service, several restaurants (including a gay-owned restaurant called Frankie's), convenience stores, gas station, bank, send office and even a Dairy Queen!
